Our healthcare team is led by our founder Carla Quintana, @matronaparami on social media. In addition, Carla works as a midwife in different hospitals in Madrid, which allows her to be in direct contact with the reality of the delivery rooms and close to the mothers and families who go to those hospitals.

Maternify is an initiative that emerged in 2020, the result of the journey and experience of Carla Quintana and Álvaro Ayllón. Carla finished her Midwifery studies in London in 2016, where the healthcare system offers postpartum support at home. This allowed her to get to know the reality of motherhood up close once families begin their new life.
Upon her return to Spain in 2017 and after a year working as a tele-midwife for an insurance company, Carla began her hospital activity and soon confirmed the postpartum abandonment suffered by women and families. This made her want to provide support to mothers beyond her working hours and in their homes, initially using word of mouth.
From the end of 2019, with social networks and her Instagram account @matronaparami, she began with online dissemination. From there, the constant demand that Carla received led her to form a team of midwives committed to her vision. This team shared a similar philosophy and vocation: to offer complete and personalized support during motherhood at home and online.
Although Álvaro joined the project in 2020, it was not called Maternify until 2022. Since then, the company has been growing at a rate of 83% per year, helping thousands of families every year, with more than 100 professionals already working online and at home throughout Spain.
